All Saints Day
This Sunday is All Hallows’ Eve, which makes Monday All Hallows' Day, better known as All Saint Day.  This is an opportunity to remember the saints who came beofre us - the ones who left their mark on the world, and the ones who left their mark on us.

Perhaps you would like to take some time this weekend to light a candle and offer a simple prayer of gratitude for someone you have known who is no longer with you.  Remember the qulities of that person that opened your heart and your mind to see differently. Give thanks for the gifts of light and love, the weave of holy

I give thanks for the wisdom of St. Thérésa of Avila who offered this lovely prayer I keep by my side most days.

May today there be peace within.

May you trust God that you are exactly

where you are meant to be.

May you not forget the infinite possibilities

that are born of faith.

May you use those gifts that you have received,

and pass on the love that has been given to you.

May you be content knowing you are a child of God.

Let this presence settle into your bones,

and allow your soul the freedom

to sing, dance, praise, and love.

It is there for each and every one of us.

Peace and joy,

Nancy
