The theme of our service for Sunday is “Absent, but Present.” We will reflect on the words of Jesus who promised that even after his death, he would be spiritually present to his disciples. Those words resonate with us today as we are separated, but still seek to be a spiritual community of love and support to each other. And they resonate with us as we remember those who are physically removed, even deceased, but still very important presences in our lives. This is good news: we can be present to each other, even while not physically together!
