Is cream or jam first on the scone? Is it pinkies up or down? Is it acceptable to dunk biscuits into your tea? This will be a fun afternoon as we enjoy the quaint practices associated with this forgotten experience and honour the seniors in our congregation. Come dressed in your finest attire – hats welcome!! - and join us as we indulge in the delightful institution of High Tea with all its delicious delicacies. If you feel comfortable, we would love it if you could bring a handwritten "afternoon tea" related recipe and a handwritten story about your growing up years that you would not mind sharing: e.g. “When I was young I remember spending time with my family doing …”; “Something that stands out for me with my family is …”
