HARVEST DANCE

Place: Sunnybrook United Church
Admission: One item for the Food Bank
This is a
social event for all ages and shapes of people in our congregation.
You don't need any special clothes or dancing ability, just
the willingness to have some fun. This year our music will
be provided by Rob Blackwell. In addition to music and dancing,
there will be a concession hosted by the Grade 4 & 5 Social
Club.
WELCOME TO ADVENT

Time: After Worship
Everyone is welcome to bring
a pot luck dish and stay after church. We'll be making an
Advent craft together.
CELEBRATING ADVENT TOGETHER
Date: Nov 27 - Dec 18, 2005
Join with other members of
our church community in "unpacking" the Advent bag, sharing
its stories, contents and activities and journaling your experience
for the next participants to read. Any household or group
wanting to participate will be asked to sign up for the 3
days they would like to have the bag. You will be notified
about who has the bag before you and after you so you can
make arrangements together to pass along the bag. It is a
fun way to focus on the meaning of Advent and Christmas.
SHROVE TUESDAY

Time: 5:30 to 7:00 pm
Cost: $4.00/person or $15.00/family
Come for a pancake supper...
a "feast" before the Lenten "fast".
