Sunday Morning Services

Sunday morning worship follows an order of service that includes music, prayer, scripture reading, and a message from the leader. We work to create a dynamic worship experience. As a result, every week is a little (or a lot!) different. Our services are mostly led by a minister, but members of the congregation often participate and sometimes even lead.

  • We welcome all visitors and newcomers to join us on Sunday morning.

  • Worship services on Sunday run from 10:30 a.m. to approximately 11:45 a.m.

  • Our church is wheelchair accessible.

  • Hearing assistance is available.

  • A Toddler Room and Babyfold is available on the main floor for children 2 years old and younger.

  • Children 3 years old and up join their parents for the first 15 minutes of each service, then on most mornings children are invited to attend Sunday Club. Children aged 3 to 5 have a classroom upstairs.  Children and youth aged 6 to Grade 12 have classrooms in the lower hall.

  • Additional worship services occur during the Advent and Lenten seasons, and for other special events. 

World Wide Communion Sunday

October 3, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. will be an inter-cultural worship followed by an inter-cultural meal.  You are invited to wear your heritage dress and bring a dish for the pot luck from your cultural heritage.  Feel free to also bring the flag from your country of origin.

Animal Blessing Sunday

October 3, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.  This is St. Francis of Assisi Day and a day to celebrate the animals in our lives.  Please bring your friends for a blessing and join together with other animal lovers.

Celebrate Food Justice

October 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.  "One of its immense richness, the Earth feeds and sustains all that lives upon and within it".  Explore various aspects of food sharing and justice, including the ministry of the Food Grains Bank.  Soup and bun lunch to follow.  The KAIROS UNDRIP petition will be circulated for signatures.

Blue Christmas:  December 12 at 7:00 p.m.

Community Concert:  December 19 at 7:00 p.m.

Christmas Season

Christmas Eve - December 24, 2010

4:00 p.m. - Wee ones and families, candle lighting

7:00 p.m. - Young adults and families, candle lighting

11:00 p.m. - Candle Lighting and communion

December 26, 2010 at 10:30:  Gather around the Tree with singing, reading, gift opening, apple cider, coffee and Christmas cake.
