The Inter-Church Curling League that plays on Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m. is desperately seeking new members for next season (Sept. 2008).  They only have six teams this year and have been informed that they will probably have to cancel the league next season.  The Red Deer Curling Centre must pay employees to clean and maintain the ice and feels that it is not worthwhile when only three sheets of ice are rented by the league.  To help promote this league the curling club is having a free try-out game on Sat. March 8 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.  If you would like to register for the free try-out please contact Skip or Darlene Murphy at 885-4464 prior to February 1.

Income Tax receipts are available to be picked up in the Narthex.
