SACRED WRITINGS, WRITING THE SACRED
Dates: Wednesdays, September 13 to October 4, 2006
Times: 9:15 - 11:15 am
Leader: Glynis Wilson-Boultbee

During this session, you will be invited to appreciate sacred writing from the Christian and other traditions. And using "Writing the Sacred" by Ray McGinnis as a text, we will follow a "psalm-inspired path" to record our own thoughts about spirit and do some sacred writing of our own. This can be as simple as a heartfelt list of what we are grateful for. So relax! No writing experience is necessary.

TEN COMMANDMENTS
Dates: September 25, October 3, 10, 17, 23, 31, November 7, 14, 21, & 27
Times: 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Leader: Dave Sonmor

The primary focus will be on an in-depth look at each commandment and how it can be applied and practised in our daily life. We will also see how each one is reflected in the "Lord's Prayer" and in other major religions. A brief handout will be available for each session with ideas that can be followed and any assignments to be done through the week.
